Terms of Service

1. Who these terms are for

geo-mode is a business-to-business (B2B) software service intended for use by businesses, agencies, freelancers and other professional users in the course of their trade. By creating an account you confirm you are using the service for business purposes and are authorised to bind the business you represent.

2. The service

geo-mode generates, scores and exports "answer-shaped" web content designed to improve the likelihood of being cited by AI assistants and search engines (Generative Engine Optimization). We provide tools; we do not guarantee any particular ranking, citation, traffic, or commercial outcome.

3. Accounts & acceptable use

You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. You agree not to: misuse or attempt to disrupt the service; exceed plan limits via automation or circumvention; generate unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or harmful content; resell raw API access; or use the service to produce spam or deceptive content at scale.

4. Plans, billing & renewals

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via our payment processor (Stripe). Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. Prices are shown on our pricing page and may change with notice; changes apply from your next billing cycle.

5. Cancellation & refunds

You may cancel at any time from your account billing portal. On cancellation, your plan remains active until the end of the current paid billing period, after which it stops renewing. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for the unused portion of a billing period. Mid-cycle upgrades are charged on a pro-rata basis by Stripe; downgrades take effect at the next renewal.

Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. We may, at our sole discretion, issue goodwill refunds.

6. Digital content & cancellation rights

geo-mode supplies digital services that begin immediately on subscription. Where you are acting as a consumer and a statutory cancellation ("cooling-off") period would otherwise apply, you expressly request that the service begins immediately and acknowledge that you lose any right to cancel for a refund once you have begun generating content. Most users access the service in a business capacity, to which statutory consumer cooling-off rights do not apply.

7. Your content & accuracy

You retain ownership of the niche inputs you provide and the content you export. Content is generated by automated AI systems and may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or unverified citations. You are solely responsible for reviewing, fact-checking, and verifying all generated content - including any sources, statistics, and claims - before publishing or relying on it. Our structure score and QC checks are aids, not guarantees of accuracy.

8. Third-party services

The service relies on third parties (including AI model providers, hosting and payment processors). Their availability and terms are outside our control. If you supply your own AI provider key (BYOK), you are responsible for that provider's costs and terms.

9. Availability

We aim for high availability but provide the service "as is" and "as available", without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. You may close your account at any time from settings; this deletes your data (see the Privacy Policy).

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise.
